The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is much better than Motorola Moto G9 Play's 76.7 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge construction is way lighter and much thinner than Motorola Moto G9 Play, despite of the fact that it was released 6 years before. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version while Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version.

Galaxy S6 Edge has a greater performance than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bits processor. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better looking display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a much better screen density.

The Moto G9 Play features a greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Motorola Moto G9 Play takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a larger aperture, a way more megapixels camera and a much bigger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.

The Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 92% more battery capacity.
