Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is better than Moto Z2 Play's overall score of 77.4. Galaxy S6 Edge is an extremely older and somewhat thicker cellphone than Moto Z2 Play, but Samsung managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway. The Galaxy S6 Edge features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and a graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better looking display than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Motorola Moto Z2 Play shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a camera in the back with much less MP and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.

The Moto Z2 Play counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play features a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent more battery size.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some money and get the Moto Z2 Play, letting go a couple specifications.
