Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S6 Edge's global score of 85.7. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has a newer 11 version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it gives some additional features. The Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is noticeably newer than the Galaxy S6 Edge's, although it's incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better looking display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater display pixels density and a way better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Galaxy A42 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1000 GB.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a graphics processing unit. The Galaxy A42 has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 92 percent larger battery size.
The Galaxy A42 has a lot better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A42 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in low-light environments and a back facing camera with a way better 48 mega pixels resolution.
