Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Galaxy A5 (2017), getting a general score of 85.7 against 75.8. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge design is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy A5 (2017), despite of the fact that it was released around 21 months before. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has an additional graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a better display density. Galaxy S6 Edge features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge.
