The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A50's general score of 83.8. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an way older phone than Samsung Galaxy A50, but it is just a little thinner and notably lighter anyway. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a much sharper display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A50, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64 bits processor and an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy A50 features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A50 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Galaxy A50 counts with a very superior battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh. Samsung Galaxy A50 captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a smaller camera sensor, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a much more megapixels camera and a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and videos.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A50. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A50, letting go a couple features and specifications.
