Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Galaxy A6, with a general score of 85.7 against 75.8. The Galaxy S6 Edge is an older device than Galaxy A6, but Samsung could make it somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a way better display than Galaxy A6, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a much higher screen density.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A6, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a quite superior processing power than Galaxy A6, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU.
Galaxy A6 has just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh. The Galaxy A6 features a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same video frame rate, a back facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels resolution and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A6 also counts with a larger camera aperture for better photos in low light environments.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A6. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A6, giving up a couple specifications.
