Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is slightly better than the Galaxy M40, with an 85.7 score against 85. Even though the Galaxy S6 Edge is noticeably older than Galaxy M40, it's design is a lot lighter and just a little thinner. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics processing unit and a 64-bits CPU. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy M40 captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a bigger aperture and a back-facing camera with a way better 32 mega-pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a very superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M40 features superior battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
