Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's 79 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, offering a couple nice extra features. Galaxy S6 Edge's body is noticeably newer and a bit thinner, but also a little bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a better processor than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a much better graphics processing unit running at 650 megahertz, a higher number of cores, a 64-bit processor and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy S4, because it has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a quite bigger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and pictures, a lot lower (Full HD) video quality, a camera with lesser megapixels and a tinier aperture which is not good for low light photos and videos.
The Galaxy S4 features a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery duration in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S4, giving up a couple features and specifications.
