Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than the Galaxy S5 Sport, with an 85.7 score against 77.8. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the newer 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2, so it provides some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's design is newer, lighter and thinner than the Galaxy S5 Sport.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little bit better screen than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a same size display, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a greater number of pixels per screen inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, 4 more cores , a faster graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit. Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and videos, they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, a 16 mega-pixels camera, the same video quality and the same video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Sport. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
