Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7, with an 85.7 score against 79.5. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an older phone than Samsung Galaxy S7, but it is a little bit thinner and lighter anyway. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S7. Both of them have an equal 2560 x 1440 resolution, a greater number of pixels per screen inch and a same size display.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor, more cores (although they are slower) and an additional graphics co-processor.
Galaxy S7 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh. The Galaxy S7 has a superior camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lower (4K) video definition and a lot less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and video.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S6 Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S7, resigning a couple features and specifications.
