Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with an 85.7 score against 78.1. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although Galaxy S6 Edge is older than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, it's construction is just a bit thinner and lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores , a 64-bit processing unit and an extra GPU. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy S7 edge takes better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back facing camera with a way worse 12 megapixels resolution and a lower video definition, it also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a larger aperture to take better photography in low-light situations.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S7 edge, letting go some specifications.
