Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is just a bit better than the Galaxy XCover Pro, with an 85.7 score against 81. The Galaxy S6 Edge is an notably older phone than Galaxy XCover Pro, but Samsung managed to make it much lighter and way thinner. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version while Galaxy XCover Pro has Android 11 version.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has an incredibly better display than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels number per inch in the display and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Galaxy S6 Edge features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lot smaller sensor providing a much lower image quality, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and video.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy XCover Pro features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy XCover Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy XCover Pro. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy XCover Pro, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
