The Xperia 1 II has a score of 91, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S6 Edge's 85.7 global score. Xperia 1 II's design is newer than Galaxy S6 Edge's, although it's incredibly heavier and a little bit thicker. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 II has a newer 11 version and Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0 version.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 1 II, although it has a much smaller screen, a quite worse number of pixels per screen inch and a much lower resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Sony Xperia 1 II has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
