Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is better than Sony Xperia Z3's overall score of 77.3. These devices come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a more recent 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4, so it counts with a couple additional features. Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the Sony Xperia Z3 were released with only a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is somewhat thinner and much lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with just a bit better performance than Xperia Z3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bit CPU, a much better graphics co-processor and more processing cores. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a little more vivid display than Xperia Z3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Sony Xperia Z3 takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also counts with a much more MP camera and a larger sensor taking better quality photographs and videos.
Galaxy S6 Edge features a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z3 features greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some money and get the Sony Xperia Z3, letting go some features and specifications.
