Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is slightly better than Xperia Z4v, getting a overall score of 85.7 against 78.8. Galaxy S6 Edge is a lighter and somewhat thinner device than Xperia Z4v, although both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. These devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version while Xperia Z4v has Android 5.1.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit better CPU than Xperia Z4v, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bit processing unit and a faster 650 MHz graphics co-processor. Galaxy S6 Edge features a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia Z4v, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little bit higher screen pixels density.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z4v, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Sony Xperia Z4v features a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2600mAh.
The Xperia Z4v captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting photos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back and a larger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia Z4v, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z4v. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z4v, giving up a couple specifications.
