Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than Sony Xperia Z5, with a global score of 85.7 against 77.6. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a lighter and just a little bit thinner phone than Sony Xperia Z5, even though both of them were only released 5 months apart.

The Galaxy S6 Edge features just a bit better screen than Xperia Z5, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per display inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor and 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much better graphics co-processor running at 650 MHz and a 64 bits processor.

The Xperia Z5 features a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a larger sensor and a camera in the back with a much higher 23 mega-pixels resolution.

The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bigger memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia Z5 features a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 2900mAh battery size instead of 2600mAh.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z5, letting go a couple specs and features.
