Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's score of 79.8. The Galaxy S6 Edge construction is lighter and just a little bit thinner than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although both were only released with a few months difference. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version.

The Galaxy S6 Edge features a little better performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a 64-bits processor and a better GPU running at 650 MHz. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a better screen pixel density, a much better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a little bigger screen.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 32% bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5 Premium. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
