Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a global score of 85.7 against 77.5. Although Galaxy S6 Edge is incredibly older than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's construction is just a little thinner and noticeably lighter. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a much sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a greater hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64 bits processing unit. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back camera, a tinier sensor giving a lower image quality, a smaller aperture and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
