Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 general score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's design is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an incredibly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a better pixel density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bit CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a way better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera, a much bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
