Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 Edge's 85.7 general score. Huawei P40 is a way newer cellphone than the Galaxy S6 Edge, but it is notably heavier and thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Huawei P40 has newer 10 version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, giving you some nice extra features and optimized performance.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a sharper display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a greater display pixels density. Huawei P40 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge count with quite similar memory capacity to install applications and games, they have equal internal storage.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P40, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bit CPU. The Huawei P40 has a way better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video quality and a same size aperture, the Huawei P40 also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera and a much bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P40 is also cheaper than the other phone, making this phone a very good choice.
