Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 Edge's 85.7 general score. Huawei P40 is a way newer cellphone than the Galaxy S6 Edge, but it is notably heavier and thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Huawei P40 has newer 10 version while Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0, giving you some nice extra features and optimized performance.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a sharper display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a greater display pixels density. The Huawei P40 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video quality and a same size aperture, the Huawei P40 also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera and a much bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
