Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 general score. Even though Galaxy S6 Edge is noticeably older than Huawei P40 Lite, it's construction is thinner and way lighter. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a little faster CPU than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei P40 Lite and Galaxy S6 Edge feature quite similar memory for games and applications, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei P40 Lite has a lot better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a bigger aperture to take better captures and video in low light situations, a much bigger sensor which offers a way better image and video quality and a back camera with much more megapixels.
Huawei P40 Lite has a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
The Galaxy S6 Edge costs a little more than the Huawei P40 Lite, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
