The Galaxy S6 has a general score of 87.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S8 Active's 81.9 global score. Galaxy S6's construction is incredibly lighter and notably thinner than the Galaxy S8 Active, despite of the fact that it was released 2 years before. Galaxy S6 has a better screen than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower 2560 x 1440 resolution, it also counts with a little bit better quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen.
Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy S6 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit processor.
The Galaxy S6 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking lower quality photos and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has a 57% larger battery size.
