The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has an overall score of 77.4, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 score. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) design is noticeably newer, just a bit lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has more RAM memory and more cpu cores.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a brighter screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px, a higher screen density and a bit brighter display. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited situations, they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
