Comparison review
The HTC U Ultra has a global score of 77, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active's general score of 75.8. HTC U Ultra is a a little bit lighter and thinner phone than the Galaxy S7 Active, even when they were released with only a couple of months difference. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a little more vivid display than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active also counts with a little bit greater number of pixels per display inch.
HTC U Ultra has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The HTC U Ultra has a processor that's just as good as the Galaxy S7 Active one, both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy S7 Active has better battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. HTC U Ultra shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting images and/or video in low-light environments, they both have a 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy S7 Active, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
