Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 Active, getting a 79.5 score against 75.8. The Huawei Mate 20 is a newer and thinner phone than the Galaxy S7 Active, but it's just a little heavier. Huawei Mate 20 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a larger number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a much smaller display and much less brightness, it also counts with a much greater screen pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, they both have a 12 MP resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active and Huawei Mate 20 have quite similar batteries duration.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, resigning some specs and features.
