Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a general score of 89.4, which is much better than Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 score. Huawei Mate X's design is extremely newer, but a little thicker and a lot heavier than Galaxy S7 Active. The Galaxy S7 Active counts with a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit worse 1440 x 2560 resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density.
Huawei Mate X has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate X counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a higher number of cores and 4 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way worse 12 MP resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and video. Huawei Mate X has a little better battery life than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy S7 Active, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
