Huawei nova 5T is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 Active, getting an 80.8 score against 75.8. Huawei nova 5T's body is a lot newer, a little bit lighter and extremely thinner than Galaxy S7 Active. Huawei nova 5T features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has more cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy S7 Active counts with a much better display than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels number in each screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. Huawei nova 5T counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back.
The Huawei nova 5T features a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy S7 Active has just a little better battery life than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3750mAh.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S7 Active, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
