Comparison review
LG G5 has an overall score of 76.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active's global score of 75.8. The LG G5 body is somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, although they were only released with a couple months difference. Galaxy S7 Active features a little sharper display than LG G5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, the Galaxy S7 Active also counts with a bit better pixel density.
LG G5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The LG G5 takes slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG G5 also counts with a way better 16 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
The LG G5 features much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G5 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy S7 Active counts with a really longer battery duration than LG G5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG G5, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S7 Active, letting go some specs and features.
