Samsung Galaxy S20 has a general score of 94.8, which is a lot better than Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 score. The Samsung Galaxy S20 design is a lot newer, extremely thinner and somewhat lighter than the Galaxy S7 Active. Galaxy S7 Active counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S20, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has 8 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores. Galaxy S20 features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB.
The Galaxy S20 counts with a battery lifetime that's very similar to the Galaxy S7 Active one. Galaxy S20 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
