Comparison review
Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, having a 78.1 score against 75.8. Galaxy S5 Plus is an older cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner and extremely lighter anyway. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a little better processing power than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
Galaxy S7 Active features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy S7 Active also has a greater pixels count in each inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Galaxy S5 Plus shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy S7 Active counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 200 GB. Galaxy S7 Active features a very superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Galaxy S5 Plus costs a bit more money than Galaxy S7 Active, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
