Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, getting a global score of 85.7 against 75.8. Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is extremely lighter and incredibly thinner than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, even though it was released around a year before. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a superior performance than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor, more processing cores and a GPU.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy S7 Active. They have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, a same size screen and a higher count of pixels per display inch. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The Galaxy S7 Active captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a lower video quality and a way worse 12 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S7 Active. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S7 Active, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
