Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.3, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 overall score. The Galaxy S6 body is incredibly thinner and way lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, despite of the fact that it was released just 14 months before. The Galaxy S6 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S7 Active. Both of them have the same number of pixels per display inch, a display with the same size and exactly the same 2560 x 1440px resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy S6 features a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit, a higher number of cores and a 64 bits processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Galaxy S6 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
In addition to being the best phone in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy S6 is also a bit cheaper.
