Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZs is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, with a general score of 77.2 against 75.8. The Sony Xperia XZs body is newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a sharper screen than Xperia XZs, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Xperia XZs counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZs also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xperia XZs counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. Both of them have 4 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a really longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 38 percent greater battery size. The Sony Xperia XZs has a way better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with a camera in the back with way more megapixels and faster video frame rate.
Although Sony Xperia XZs is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZs, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a couple features and specifications.
