Apple iPhone 6s Plus has a score of 84.2, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's global score of 78.1. Even though Apple iPhone 6s Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge were released only a couple months apart, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus design is heavier but just a bit thinner. Apple iPhone 6s Plus comes with iOS 9.x OS, and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The iPhone 6s Plus features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has an inferior number of cores and they are also slower and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and a graphics processing unit. The iPhone 6s Plus has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a bit inferior pixel amount per inch of screen and a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution, they both have a same size display.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a slightly better camera than Apple iPhone 6s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same video frame rate and a back-facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a lot bigger diafragm aperture and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Apple iPhone 6s Plus counts with a quite bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy S7 edge has better battery performance than iPhone 6s Plus, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity against 2750mAh.
Although iPhone 6s Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 6s Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S7 edge, resigning a couple specifications.
