Apple iPhone 7 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, getting a overall score of 81.6 against 78.1. The Apple iPhone 7 is a somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner phone than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, even when they were only released with a couple of months difference. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features just a bit better looking display than Apple iPhone 7, because it has a larger screen, a lot greater pixel amount per inch of screen and a way better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The Apple iPhone 7 features a bit better performance than Galaxy S7 edge, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit better camera than iPhone 7, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a camera with a 12 MP resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures in poorly lited situations.
IPhone 7 features much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a really longer battery duration than iPhone 7, because it has an 84% more battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 7, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, giving up some specifications.
