Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge, getting a overall score of 79.5 against 78.1. Asus ROG Phone 8's construction is incredibly newer than the Galaxy S7 edge's, but it is thicker and incredibly heavier. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has older 14 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Galaxy S7 edge has a really superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM memory and 4 lesser CPU cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a lot worse pixel density and a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a larger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a lot more megapixels back camera and a way higher 7680x4320 video definition.
