Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s 77.4 global score. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S7 edge has an older 8.0 Oreo version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy S7 edge is an a lot older phone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), but Samsung was able to build it lighter and just a bit thinner.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a higher number of cores and 2 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a little sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels number in each display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Galaxy S7 edge has a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture to take better photos in low-light situations.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much better battery duration than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3600mAh.
