Comparison review

Google Nexus 6 has a general score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 6 has an older 5.1 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, it must be noted that it's also older, notably thicker and somewhat heavier.

The Google Nexus 6 features a little bit better display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with a quite bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a greater memory to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 6, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 200 GB.

Google Nexus 6 features a little better performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with an extra GPU. Galaxy S7 edge has a bit superior battery duration than Google Nexus 6, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.

The Galaxy S7 edge takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a back camera with less megapixels and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Nexus 6, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a couple specifications.
