Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the Honor 50 Pro's global score of 77. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S7 edge is older than the Honor 50 Pro, it's body is a little bit thinner and lighter. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy S7 edge has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11 version, giving you some additional features.

The Galaxy S7 edge has a slightly better looking screen than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixel density and a bit higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Honor 50 Pro features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores.

Honor 50 Pro features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Honor 50 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Honor 50 Pro also counts with a way higher 108 MP resolution back facing camera.

The Honor 50 Pro features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
