Comparison review
The Galaxy S7 edge has a score of 78.1, which is a bit better than HTC U11's overall score of 77.6. The Galaxy S7 edge design is just a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than HTC U11, even though it was released just 14 months before. The HTC U11 has a bit better processor than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the HTC U11 also has a higher number of cores (and faster).
The HTC U11 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S7 edge. Both have a display with the same size, exactly the same 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater number of pixels per inch in the display. The HTC U11 takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a smaller camera sensor taking lower quality photographs and videos, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a back camera with a 12 MP, the same aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
HTC U11 counts with a bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports 72 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage. The Galaxy S7 edge has superior battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it costs more than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC U11. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the HTC U11, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
