The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is just a bit better than Galaxy S7 edge, getting an 82.9 score against 78.1. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro construction is extremely newer than Galaxy S7 edge's, although it's thicker and somewhat heavier. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a just a bit more pixels per display inch, a slightly better 1440 x 3120px resolution and a larger display. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a much better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a camera with much more MP and a way larger sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning some specs and features.
