Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 is better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, getting a general score of 89.1 against 78.1. These devices work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X2 has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Huawei Mate X2 is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, it's a little thicker and much heavier.
Galaxy S7 edge has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a bit worse 1440 x 2560 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a greater screen density. Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate X2 counts with greater battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3600mAh.
The Huawei Mate X2 captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a way more MP camera in the back.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7 edge. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
