Comparison review
Galaxy S7 edge is just a bit better than Huawei nova 3, getting a score of 78.1 against 76.3. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S7 edge has the previous 8.0 Oreo version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. Galaxy S7 edge is a noticeably older and a bit thicker phone than Huawei nova 3, but Samsung was able to make it a bit lighter anyway.
Huawei nova 3 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a higher number of cores and 2 GB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has just a bit better screen than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a higher pixel number per inch in the display.
The Huawei nova 3 shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei nova 3 also counts with a lot better 16 mega-pixels resolution camera.
The Huawei nova 3 features a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB and 96 GB more internal memory. The Huawei nova 3 features just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 3750mAh battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
