Comparison review

The Huawei P40 Lite is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 edge, with a overall score of 79.5 against 78.1. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Lite has the previous 10 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Huawei P40 Lite body is extremely newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than the Galaxy S7 edge.

Galaxy S7 edge has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Huawei P40 Lite has a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity.

Huawei P40 Lite features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 17 percent greater battery capacity. Huawei P40 Lite captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much better 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality.

Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Huawei P40 Lite is also by far the cheapest one, making it an obvious call.
