Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with an 88.2 score against 78.1. Huawei P40 Pro's design is a lot newer, but a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 4 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher amount of pixels in each inch of display and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a greater memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei P40 Pro shoots a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking images and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a lot bigger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality, better video frame rates and a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Huawei P40 Pro has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 17 percent larger battery capacity.
