The Galaxy S7 edge is a little bit better than LG Q8, getting a score of 78.1 against 77.2. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S7 edge has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat, giving you lots of additional features and performance optimizations. Galaxy S7 edge's body is a little thinner than the LG Q8, although it's a bit heavier and was released a bit more further than a year before.

Galaxy S7 edge has just a little better performance than LG Q8. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. LG Q8 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1440 x 2560, the LG Q8 also counts with a just a little better display pixel density.

LG Q8 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations and a tinier camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG Q8 also counts with a camera in the back with a way better 16 megapixels resolution.

The LG Q8 has a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG Q8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy S7 edge has superior battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity.
