Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Duo has a general score of 78.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 edge's general score of 78.1. The Microsoft Surface Duo design is extremely newer and thinner than the Galaxy S7 edge's, but it's noticeably heavier. These phones come with Android OS, but Microsoft Surface Duo has the older 10 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a greater pixel quantity in each inch in the display.

Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a bit better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also counts with a back-facing camera with a better resolution and a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
