Comparison review

Galaxy S7 edge is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40, with a 78.1 score against 77.2. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Galaxy S7 edge has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, giving you some nice extra features and a performance increase. Galaxy S7 edge's body has the same thickness than the Motorola Edge 40, but it's just a little lighter.

The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit lower pixel quantity per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen. The Motorola Edge 40 has more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy S7 edge has a much better processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM and 4 lesser cpu cores. The Motorola Edge 40 has longer battery life than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 22% greater battery size. Motorola Edge 40 captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality, a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution camera and a bigger aperture.
