The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is much better than Galaxy S7 edge, getting a general score of 87.1 against 78.1. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's design is much newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy S7 edge. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has the previous 14 version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a way lower count of pixels in each inch in the display and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a larger display. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 480 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has an inferior number of cores and 8 GB lesser RAM. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra shoots way better videos and photos than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also has better video frame rate, a lot larger sensor capturing much higher quality photos and videos, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light photos and videos and a much more MP camera in the back.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
