The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, with a 78.1 score against 76.2. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's design is notably lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has Android 14.

The Galaxy A16 5G and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge count with really similar displays, because although the Galaxy A16 5G has a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a way worse pixels count per inch of display, it also counts with a larger screen. The Galaxy S7 edge has an extremely better CPU than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount.

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G counts with a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 39 percent more battery capacity.

The Galaxy S7 edge features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has a much lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.

Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A16 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A16 5G. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S7 edge, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy A16 5G, giving up some specifications.
